Cookie Policy
How Metalflex uses cookies and similar technologies on this site, and how you can manage them.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on visitors' devices to make them work or to collect information about browsing. Similar technologies, such as browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), work the same way. Some are necessary for the site to work; the others are used only with your consent.
What this site uses
The Metalflex website does not use profiling cookies or statistics tools (analytics). It only stores the following technical information on your device, which does not require consent:
| Name | Where | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| mf-cookie-consent-v1 | Browser storage (localStorage) | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner, so that it is not shown on every page. | Until you delete it or change it from “Cookie preferences” |
| mf-nav | Tab storage (sessionStorage) | Makes moving from one page of the site to another smooth. | Until the tab is closed |
Maps and videos from other providers
Some pages include services provided by Google Ireland Limited:
- the Google Maps map on the Contact and Company pages;
- the YouTube videos on the Processes and Services pages, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
This content is not loaded until you ask for it: in its place there is a box with a “Show the map” or “Watch the video” button. It loads automatically only if you chose “Accept all” in the banner. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may read or store cookies and other data on your device. Which cookies Google uses and for how long is described by Google itself: how Google uses cookies and Google privacy policy.
Fonts
The site's fonts are downloaded from the Google Fonts service. It does not set cookies, but to deliver the fonts it receives the visitor's IP address.
Managing consent
On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept maps and videos from other providers: you can choose “Accept all” or “Reject”. If you reject, the site still works in full, and maps and videos remain available through their button. You can change your mind at any time:
- by clicking (also in the footer of every page);
- or in your browser settings, where you can delete cookies and data stored by websites.
